Congratulations to CEO Alumni Grace Rokeh and Sam Deutz who were selected as the Marshall High School's "Triple A" Award recipients through the Minnesota State High School League.

Award nominees must possess a 3.0 GPA or higher, participate in at least one art/activity program, and comply with MSHSL's Student Code of Conduct.

Nominees are recommended by coaches and educators for being stand-outs in their schools and communities.

Here are what the nominators had to say about our CEO students:

"Grace always showed up to class ready to learn and engage with community members, guest speakers, and her peers. Grace was often a stand-out when it came to being a leader and a positive force within the cohort.
While participating in the rigorous coursework of CEO and other advanced courses, Grace was also a force in athletics, achieving Section placement in swimming and golf. Grace always gave her best in the pool and on the course to become a better player and teammate where she could. "

"It is a privilege to recommend Sam Deutz, and exceptional students whose athletic achievements, academic excellence, leadership and integrity distinguish him as one of Marshall High School's finest. What stands out most about Sam is his willingness and drive to take on challenges that go beyond the norm of his peers. Same will leave MHS as the all-time fastest 5k runner and only 5-time individual boys state qualifier in Cross Country. Sam approaches every task with care and purpose, never seeking recognition but earning it through his actions"

Congratulations to Grace and Sam on an award well-deserved!
